Red Dragon Driving School offer a full range of courses for both category C (rigid goods vehicles) and category C+E (goods vehicles with trailer). Our courses are designed to enable you to obtain your licence in the shortest possible time with the minimum fuss.

Courses are tailored to suit drivers of varying experience.

Examples include:

  • 3 day course: e.g. for up-grading from PCV licence to LGV category C.
  • 5 day course: e.g. for experienced car driver to category C or for up-grading an existing category C licence to C+E.
  • 8 day course: e.g. for experienced car or van driver to C+E licence.
  • 10 day course: e.g. for less experienced car driver to C+E licence.

These examples are for guidance only. The length of course required may vary according to the individuals experience and performance.

To apply for the provisional LGV entitlement to be added to your driving licence you must complete a D2 driving licence application form and have a D4 medical form completed by a doctor.
